Front Desk Staff (multiple positions): The Athletics Front Desk Staff will assist in the operation and day-to-day workings of the R.J. Surtees Athletic Centre. This role provides frontline customer service support while helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and well‑presented facility. The position supports events, bookings, and general administrative and facility needs, including regular cleaning of fitness spaces.

Varsity Event Staff (multiple positions): Varsity Event staff assist with ensuring that Lakers Athletics events run smooth and effortlessly for our student-athletes and fans. There are multiple sports and positions to choose from including basketball, soccer, volleyball, and hockey. Basketball, soccer, and volleyball games take place on campus and hockey games take place at North Bay Memorial Gardens. Hours of work vary from 10 to 40 hours per month, September to February.

Game Day Student Assistant (one position): The Athletics Game Day Student Assistant supports the successful execution of intercollegiate athletic events by assisting various Athletics Department staff with game day operations. This role involves hands-on tasks related to event setup, coordination, and breakdown, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for athletes, staff, and spectators. The Game Day Student Assistant will assist with the operations of Lacrosse, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and hockey games. Lacrosse, basketball, soccer, and volleyball games take place on campus and hockey games take place at North Bay Memorial Gardens. Hours of work vary from 10 to 40 hours per month, September to February.

Sports Information Assistant (one position): The Sports Information Assistant will assist the Sports Information & Gameday Coordinator with operations and procedures relating to all Lakers varsity home and away games. This position helps support game day operations, sports information collection and distribution, and social media strategy/content creation. This position represents Nipissing's Athletic Department to internal and external stakeholders.

Varsity Student Photographer: The Varsity Student Photographer will support the Athletics Department by capturing high-quality images of varsity games, athletes, and game day experiences. This role contributes to the promotion and documentation of Nipissing University's varsity sports through visual storytelling.

Student Athletic Therapist (multiple positions): The Student Athletic Therapist will assist with providing immediate care and injury assessment to student-athletes during practices and games. They assist in developing and implementing rehabilitation programs under the supervision of certified athletic therapists, maintaining accurate injury records, and ensure proper use of therapeutic modalities and equipment.

Student Athletic Therapist - Hockey (two positions): The Student Athletic Therapist — Hockey Coverage will assist with providing immediate care, injury assessment, and treatment support to student-athletes during hockey practices and games. They will assist with preventative care, taping, bracing, and rink-specific preparation under the supervision of certified athletic therapists. This role also supports game-day and practice setup, post-game clean-up, accurate injury documentation, and the general organization and cleanliness of athletic therapy spaces and supplies.

NUSAC Student Staff (four positions): The Athletics NUSAC Student Staff supports the planning, delivery, and administration of intramural sport programming at Nipissing University. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging recreational sport environment that enhances student wellbeing, community connection, and campus life. The successful candidate will assist with league operations, officiating, scheduling, communication, and program development, while serving as a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact for participants.
