Lakers head coach
Jason Rudge liked what he saw all weekend and excited for the rest of the season.
"Coming off a great training camp and week of practice the team was ready to go. Forcing McGill to OT is a game changer for our program and is setting the tone to the league that Nipissing Lacrosse is a program to watch out for," he said.
The Lakers have just one game this weekend as they travel to Peterborough to face the Trent Excalibur Sunday afternoon.
Trent didn't play in the first week and will face Bishop's Saturday before entertaining Nipissing.
