Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens Sports Arena
Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens Sports Arena was founded in 1955. It is located just outside downtown North Bay and is minutes from Highway 11/17. Not only is it home to the Nipissing University Men's and Women's Hockey Team, but it is also where the North Bay Battalion (OHL) play. Other services offered at the Gardens include adult and youth hockey tournaments, camps and clinics, skating lessons, figure skating, and public sessions.
The Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens Sports Arena has a 200' x 85' Ice Surface and a spectator capacity of 4,250 for hockey events, 5,000 for concerts.
