Nipissing Field
The Nipissing University artificial turf soccer field, built in 2018 and replacing the old natural grass field, is home to the men's and women's Lakers soccer teams as well as the lacrosse team during the fall months. The new turf field will measure 100 x 64m and is designed in accordance with FIFA standards and remains located beside the Robert J Surtees Student Athletics Centre. The field also has a press box and an outdoor lighting system to accommodate evening games. The pitch is also utilized by Nipissing Intramurals for activities such as flag football and ultimate Frisbee and the BPHE program will use the field for their practicals that take place throughout the academic year.
