The Nipissing Lakers men's volleyball team wasted little time picking up a pair of wins on the road this weekend.

The Lakers swept the Waterloo Warriors 3-0 both matches, for a perfect road trip.

Friday, Nipissing picked up a 3-0 sweep (25-22, 25-20, 25-20) win over Waterloo in clean fashion.

Justice Smith led the Lakers offence with 14 kills in the victory.

Saturday, it was more of the same for the Lakers as they claimed their second straight sweep of Waterloo, winning 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-12).

Taydon Shantz and Marc Marchand each had eight kills, while Smith added seven for the Lakers in the victory.

The Lakers are back home next weekend when they host the Trent Excalibur for a pair of matches.
