There's still a lot to play for when the Nipissing Lakers men's volleyball team hits the court this weekend.
They're coming off a weekend split in Kingston, as they beat the RMC Paladins Friday, before falling Saturday to close out the weekend.
In the opening match of the weekend, Nipissing picked up a 3-0 sweep (25-19, 25-22, 31-29) win over the Paladins.
Marc Marchand led the Lakers with 13 kills, while
Justice Smith added 10 in the victory.
To close out their road trip, the Lakers lost a tough one, falling 3-2 (25-17, 25-17, 25-27, 20-25, 10-15) to RMC.
Taydon Shantz and
Jimmy Gill each had nine kills to lead the Lakers offence in the match.
Nipissing closes out the season next weekend taking on Brock in St. Catharines.
