The Nipissing Lakers women's volleyball team took care of business on the road this past weekend.

The Lakers defeated the RMC Paladins twice, running their winning streak to seven matches and improving to 12-6 on the season with two games to go.

Friday, Nipissing picked up a 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-18) sweep of the Paladins to begin the weekend.

Oceane Raymond-Leduc had a monster match, posting 24 kills for the Lakers, while Anna Marie Horvat added eight in the victory.

Saturday, the Lakers completed the weekend sweep of RMC, winning 3-0 (25-15, 31-29, 25-19).

Paige Owen and Horvat each had 10 kills in the victory for the Lakers.

Nipissing closes out the season next weekend taking on Brock in St. Catharines.
