The Nipissing Lakers men's soccer team is on an incredible run.

The Lakers extended their unbeaten streak to an impressive eight games thanks to two more wins on the road this past weekend.

The Lakers defeated the RMC Paladins 3-0 Saturday and the Queen's Gaels 1-0 Sunday afternoon, improving to 6-2-2 on the season.

Caelan Walraven continued his strong season scoring the lone goal of the first half – a strike that turned out to be the game-winner.

Leading 1-0, the Lakers added two goals by the hour mark of the game, building up a 3-0 lead and cruising to the victory and three points.

Josiah Estephane and Christian Alagna scored the other goals for the Lakers.

The next day, in a physical, hard-fought victory, the Lakers used a 73rd minute penalty kick goal by Julian Srock to grab another win.

Dante Emmanuel was perfect in net once again, picking up two clean sheets.

Nipissing faces Toronto Saturday and TMU Sunday, both on the road, to wrap up the regular season.
