The Nipissing Lakers men's hockey team managed to salvage a point on the road in Thunder Bay this past weekend.
The Lakers dropped both games, falling 3-1 Friday night and 3-2 in overtime Saturday night to the Lakehead Thunderwolves, but did fight back to grab a single point to wrap up the weekend.
On Friday,
Tyson Tomasini had the lone Lakers goal while
Zach Roy made 42 saves in the contest in a 3-1 setback.
And on Saturday, to close out the road trip,
Kyle Foreman scored twice, while

The Lakers trailed 2-0 before Foreman struck twice, sending the game to the extra frame.
Nipissing is back in action at home next weekend, hosting Laurier for a pair of games on Friday and Saturday.
