The Nipissing Lakers men's hockey team dropped a pair of games in the nation's capital this past weekend.

The Lakers fell 3-0 to the Ottawa Gee Gees Friday night, before coming up just short, losing 6-4 to the Carleton Ravens Saturday to wrap up the weekend.

Zach Roy made 33 saves in the first contest.

Saturday, pair of goals by Harrison Caines and singles from Kyle Foreman and Charlie Johnson weren't enough for the Lakers, as they droppeda two-goal decision.

Reece Proulx stopped 44 Ravens shots in a busy night in the crease.

Nipissing remains on the road as they take on the Toronto Varsity Blues next weekend.
