North Bay, Ontario – Nipissing Lakers Women's Soccer is slated to take on the University of Toronto Varsity Blues in an OUA Playoffs Quarterfinals match this Saturday, October 24^th at 1:00PM at Nipissing Turf Field.
 
The Lakers, who sported an 8-3-1 record for the 2026 regular season, finished with 25 points and the 2^nd seed in the OUA East division.
 
Toronto finished with an 8-3-1 record and 25 points and the third seed in the East divison. The Varsity Blues faced the Toronto Metropolitan University Bold in a first-round Playoffs matchup on Wednesday, October 21^st. The Blues took the decision 5-0.
 
The Lakers and Blues met two times during 2026 regular season play. Nipissing collected a 1-0 shutout win in Toronto on September 6^th; the two sides drew 2-2 on October 4^th in North Bay.
 
All time, Nipissing posts a 5-4-2 record when hosting the Varsity Blues at Nipissing Turf Field.
