North Bay, ON – Nipissing Men's Hockey is proud to announce that forward
Danny Akkouche has been selected to the OUA's All-Rookie team for the 2025-26 season.
Akkouche, hailing from Montreal, Quebec, completed his first season with Men's Hockey this year.
Danny scored 17 points, including 5 goals and 12 assists, in 21 games for Nipissing. Akkouche was responsible for one short-handed goal, good for 8
th in the OUA in that category.
"Danny was one of the top scoring forwards and had a fantastic year" said Lakers Head Coach
Mike McParland. "Even with missed time due to an injury, Akkouche scored at almost a point-per-game pace, a testament to his great season."
"We're excited for what next season and beyond holds for Danny as he continues to get even better."
