The skilled forward was dominant all season, finishing tied for the team and OUA lead in points, she led the team and OUA in goals, power play goals and sat tied for the OUA-lead in game-winning goals.
Those numbers had her ranked in the top 10 in USports as well.
Chomiak was seventh in goals and points, fifth in power play goals, tied for first in shorthanded goals and third in game-winning goals.
She finished with 16 goals, 14 assists, 30 points, along with six power play goals and five game-winners, adding two shorthanded markers.
Chomiak had seven multi-point games, including a four-point effort against Toronto where she buried a hat-trick, leading the Lakers to victory.
She capped off the season with five points in the final three games.
The Sudbury, ON native has now claimed OUA Forward and Player of the Year, OUA First Team All-Star and now USports All-Canadian.
Al Carfagnini Male Athlete of the Year – Trent O’Brien, Men’s Volleyball
The second-year middle provide stability for the Lakers and had an impressive season offensively, posting 142 kills and 217.5 points.
He averaged 3.0 points per set as well as leading the OUA total block with 62 in 20 matches.
He reached double digits in kills five times, with his season-high coming against TMU, where he grabbed 13.
There were only two games where he didn’t record an official block, with a high of eight coming in the second last match of the season.
O’Brien also sits tied for fifth in service aces, with 25.
