Box Score After an emotional win in Round 1 of the OUA Playoffs, the Nipissing Lakers men's soccer team was unable to duplicate the results Sunday.

Despite a valiant effort, the Lakers lost 5-1 to the nationally ranked Carleton Ravens in Ottawa.

Carleton built up a 2-0 lead early and took it into halftime and made it 4-0 early in the second half with a pair of tallies.

Deven Doodnath put the Lakers on the board with his first OUA goal, but Carleton would answer with another goal and walk away with the win.

After missing the post-season two straight season, the Lakers not only got back to the playoffs, but they advanced to the quarter-finals, a step in the right direction for the program.
