| Box Score 2 The Nipissing Lakers women's hockey team dropped a pair of close contests on the road this weekend.

With the season winding down, the Lakers had been heating up, but cooled down on their trip to Toronto.

Friday night, the Lakers came out on the wrong end of a 2-0 decision against Ryerson. 

Jackie Rochefort finished with 24 saves, as Ryerson outshot Nipissing 26-21.

Saturday afternoon, it was a tough 3-2 loss to Toronto for NU. Maria Dominico and Bronwyn Bolduc scored for the Lakers.

 Rochefort was back in between the pipes for the Lakers, this time finishing with 15 stops.

Final shots read 23-18 in favour of Nipissing.

The Lakers return home for their final four games of the season, beginning next weekend when they face Guelph Friday at 5pm and Brock Saturday at 7:30pm.
