The Nipissing Lakers women's basketball team dropped both ends of a home-and-home series with the Laurentian Voyageurs.
The Lakers lost 84-48 this afternoon in Sudbury.
Nipissing led 16-13 after one quarter of play and trailed just by six, 32-26 at halftime, but the second half wasn't kind to Nipissing.
Laurentian scored 52 points to the Lakers 22 to run away with the game and claim the win.
Kylea Galipeau-Wilson led the way with 14 points for Nipissing and
Marla Corney added 7.
The Lakers are back in action Friday, when they host Carleton.
