The Nipissing Lakers women's soccer team hit a speed bump Sunday afternoon and had their two game win streak snapped.
The Lakers fell for the first time at home to a strong Toronto Varsity Blues team by a final of 4-0.
Toronto forward Jenny Wolever led the way with three points in the win.
The Blues struck first at the 26-minute mark and led 1-0 at halftime.
They erupted for three goals in the second half, scoring at the 63rd minute, the 77th and 81st and cruised to the win.
Mykaela Volpe finished with two saves, while Nipissing fired two shots on goal.
Nipissing is back in action next weekend on the road, at Ontario Tech and Trent – Saturday and Sunday.
