The Nipissing Lakers men's volleyball team grabbed their brooms Sunday and handled the Trent Excalibur in three sets Sunday on the road.
The Lakers swept Trent to finish the weekend off in style after a tough loss Friday night at home to the Ryerson Rams.
Nipissing beat Trent 25-19, 25-20 and closed the match out with a 25-14 victory.
Grady McClure and
Jeremie Murray both had 11 kills to lead the way.
While it's early in the season, the Lakers are off to a strong start and sit on top of the East Division, sitting with a 3-1 record, good for six points.
The Lakers will host the McMaster Mauraders Saturday and the Brock Badgers Sunday in their final home matches of the season.
Both matches are set for 2pm at the Surtees Athletic Centre.
