Box Score The Nipissing Lakers men's volleyball team was eliminated in Round 1 of the OUA Forsyth playoffs this past weekend in Hamilton.

In the opening set, the Lakers trailed 16-12 at the technical timeout and from there, McMaster outscored Nipissing 9-2 to claim the opening set 25-14.

In the middle set, McMaster had a 16-13 lead at the break and held on for the 25-16 win to go up 2-0 in the match.

The Marauders sealed the victory in the third set, jumping out to a 16-8 lead at the break and cruising to the 25-12 win to claim the set.

McMaster's strong play eliminated the Lakers 3-0 and put an end to a very strong season by Nipissing.

Leading the way for the Lakers were Jeremie Murray and Curtis MacPherson with five kills each, Jackson Young, Grady McClure and Liam Ludlow all added three kills as well.
