Box Score It was another strong effort by the Nipissing Lakers men's soccer team, but no results to go with it.
The Lakers dropped their second straight game to the Ryerson Rams on Sunday afternoon, falling 3-2 in Toronto.
After going down 3-0, the Lakers fought back to make it 3-2, but it wasn't enough, as the team dropped to 3-2 on the season.
The Rams struck three times in the first half, scoring at the 30-minute mark and again in the 32nd minute.
They would add their third goal of the game at minute 41, as they headed to the break up by three.
Nipissing would cut into the Rams lead in the 62nd minute, as
Cody Vaillancourt found the back of the net to make it 3-1 Ryerson.
Cedric Devos made it a one goal game in the dying minutes, but time ran out on the Lakers.
Up next, the Lakers will head to Sudbury to take on Laurentian on Oct. 19.
Game time is set for 7:30pm.
