Box Score The Nipissing Lakers women's soccer team continues to roll through the midway point of the OUA season.

The Lakers remained perfect, improving to 5-0, thanks to a 4-0 win over the Ryerson Rams Sunday in Toronto.

After a 1-0 win Friday night, the Lakers completed the weekend sweep on the road thanks to goals from four different players and a clean sheet from Mykaela Volpe.

Nipissing scored the eventual game-winner just seven minutes into the game when Jessica Emmerton found the back of the net.

The score would stay 1-0 until the 68-minute mark when the Lakers made it 2-0 and added two more goals before the final whistle.

Sabrina Chabot doubled the Lakers lead before Alanna Delle Monache made it 3-0 and Jennifer Milligan capped off the scoring late in the game.

Volpe finished with four saves for the victory, remaining perfect this season.

The Lakers had yet to allow a goal through five victories this season.

Up next, Nipissing travels to Sudbury to take on Laurentian on Oct. 19 in a make-up game that was cancelled earlier in the season.

Game time is set for 5pm next week.
