A first half Nipissing goal and a second half Laurentian goal saw the teams finish even at 1-1 in their lone meeting of the season.

Olutosin Ajakaiye struck early for the Lakers, scoring just over five minutes into the game to put Nipissing up a goal.

They held the lead through the halftime break and into the later stages of the game before the Vees evened things up.

A goal just seconds before the clock hit 80 minutes tied the game and the two teams finished with a point each.

Nipissing outshot Laurentian 5-2 through 90 minutes.

Next for the Lakers is a trip to Peterborough to take on the Trent Excalibur in their lone game of the Thanksgiving weekend.
