The Nipissing Lakers men's basketball team is excited and proud to announce the addition of their latest recruit, skilled outside shooter, Andrew Latham.
Originally from Oakville, ON, Latham will make his way to the Lakers after spending time at St. Lawrence College, playing with the Surge.
He averaged 13.9 points per game in 18 games, making 17 starts last season for the Surge.
During the season, Latham hit double-digits in points 13 times, surpassed the 20-point mark three times and had a season-high 30 points in a tight contest against George Brown in January.
Latham will join the Lakers for the 2025-26 OUA season.

Latham: "The second I talked to Coach Nate and Coach Cory, it felt like the right fit. They're real and they believe in the kind of player I am. Nipissing has that small-town, close-knit vibe I love — a place where hard work matters and you're not just another number. That's my kind of environment.
I'm a high-volume shooter who can stretch the floor and create space. I bring energy on both ends, love playing tough defense and I pride myself on outworking the guy in front of me. I'm not flashy, just consistent, competitive and committed to doing the little things that win games.
I'm here to make an impact right away. Whether that's scoring, guarding the other team's best player, or being a vocal leader, I'll do whatever it takes. I want us to compete hard every night, build a culture of toughness and push for a spot at the top of the league."
