North Bay, ON – Nipissing Lakers Men's Volleyball is slated to face the University of Toronto Varsity Blues on Friday, Feb. 20 at 7PM in the first round of the OUA's Forsyth Cup Playoffs.
 
Nipissing finished the regular season with an 11-9 record, good for 7^th place in the OUA with 34 points. The Lakers are coming off two wins against the Waterloo Warriors on Feb. 6 and 7 to end their regular season and have won 5 of their last 7 matches overall. Nipissing managed a sets for/sets against record of 44-36 in 20 games this season.
 
The Varsity Blues finished the season with an 18-2 record, good for 2^nd place in the OUA with 49 points. Toronto finished the season with a sets for/sets against record of 57-24. Toronto finished the season with a 6-1 record in their last 7 matches.
 
This will be the third matchup of the 2025-26 season for Nipissing and Toronto. The Varsity Blues won both previous games, winning 3-2 on Nov. 21 and 3-0 on Nov. 22, both at the Goldring Centre in Toronto.
