North Bay, Ontario – Nipissing Men's Hockey is proud and excited to announce the signing of 2026 recruit Ivan Fabjan to the program.
Fabjan, a product of Mississauga, Ontario, is a centre. Ivan spent the last four seasons of junior hockey with the OJHL's Milton Menace where he scored 63 goals and 162 points in 199 career games.
Fabjan describes his style of play as a 200-foot power forward looking to contribute north to south on the ice.
"I am looking forward fitting into the tight-knit hockey culture that the Lakers have" Fabjan said when asked what excites him about joining Nipissing. "I have heard great things and I can't wait to get started this fall."
Ivan will be enrolling in Nipissing's Bachelor of Physical Education (BPHE) program.
"I choose Nipissing because the school best represents who I am as a person. Nipissing being a smaller school makes the transition more comfortable. The hockey program is great, and I look forward to earning my spot on the roster come training camp this fall."
Welcome to the Lakers, Ivan!
