Box Score The Nipissing Lakers men's soccer team ran into one of the top teams in the league Wednesday night in Round 1 of the OUA Playoffs.

After battling for 90 minutes, the Lakers came up short, falling 3-0 to the TMU Bold on the road, eliminating them from the post-season.

After a scoreless first half, TMU scored three goals in the final 30 minutes to claim the win.

They tallied the eventual game-winner at the hour mark, adding a second in the 86th.

Up 2-0 and with the Lakers pushing, the Bold added a third to put the game away in the final minutes of play.

This ends the season for the Lakers after another strong showing and post-season appearance.
