North Bay, ON – Nipissing Lakers Women's Hockey is proud to announce that forward Jill Hennessy has been selected as a member of the OUA's East All Stars – 2^nd Team for the 2025-26 season.
 
Hennessy, a second-year BPHE student hailing from White Lake, Ontario, completed her second season with the Lakers in 2025-26.
 
Jill scored 14 goals in 26 regular season games for Nipissing this season, good for fourth in the OUA. Hennessy had 26 points as many games and ended the season fifth in OUA scoring. Hennessy tied for first in the league with five game winning goals this season. She also scored a hattrick on Feb. 3 vs. York. Hennessy finished the season 5^th in the OUA with four power-play goals, and third in the league with one shorthanded goal.
 
"Jill was a go-to player for us all season long in every situation. Her work ethic, both on and off the ice, and her desire to win made her a very valuable part of our program" said Lakers Women's Hockey Head Coach Darren Turcotte.
 
"We look forward to even bigger things to come in the next two seasons from Jill."
