North Bay, Ontario - Nipissing Men's Basketball is proud and excited to announce the signing of 2026 recruit Ben Fofana. 

Fofana, who hails from Ottawa, Ontario, is a point guard. Ben's previous clubs include Canada Topflight Academy and St. Patrick's High School. 

Ben describes his style of play as a three-level scorer and a facilitator on the court. 

"I want to help the team win in any way that I can." 

"Ben is a high-character team focused player who can make plays from anywhere," said Nipissing Lakers Head Coach Thomas Cory. "Ben fits well with our program's culture and we are excited to add him to the roster for 2026 and beyond." 

When asked why he chose Nipissing, Fofana said "Coach Thomas Cory made me feel welcomed from day one. I feel that Nipissing is a place that I can grow on and off the court, and I'm excited to get to work."
